How to make related posts more accurate?

I just installed Contextual Related Posts and it doesn’t look like the related posts are at all related to the subject matter of the article. For example, on this page: https://longislandweekly.com/cardinal-paints-city-red/ it shows county news stuff when the article is about an Off-Broadway play. What can I do to tweak the results? THank you.
