How to make post thumbnails in a single page

  • I am creating a website for one of my client but I am stuck here. I need someone to help me out.

    I will create a page to showcase all the products, and the products belong to various categories. So basically, the product page will show categories in the left side, and show all products in thumbnails in the right side. And when click a category, all products in that category will show.

    And when visitors click on a single thumbnail of that product, it will go to a post for that product.

    I do try a plugin for the purpose, the plugin is named WP catalogue. But from the point of view of SEO, I won’t bother with using a plugin to do so. Are there any smarter way to do so.
