    Hello!

In an earlier topic I asked, how to get non-Latin, non-Cyrillic fonts displayed on the created PDF. The answer I received was, that a limited set of limited character set fonts are included in the WP-MPDF. That’s why the PDF of the linked contains empty boxes instead some Japanese characters (bunch of ? instead of 獅子は ラーテルを 食べた).

I’m foreseeing a need for some non-Latin, non-Cyrillic characters. Rather than downloading something somewhere and filling my server space, I would like to be able to refer Google’s online fonts. Preferably on a PDF-basis, i.e. this document needs Nico Moji (Google Noto variant with Japanese characters), while another needs Noto Sans Devanagari (for Hindi) and so on.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Unfortunately the current PDF library version that is used does not support any fonts other than the once delivered with the plugin. Feel free to checkout the github repository and submit a merge request with adding additional fonts (as long as they are open source and allowed to be redistributed.
