how to make PayPal button code work?

Hello,
I am trying to add a PayPal donate button to the maintenance mode site. I know you have to ‘whitelist’ the IP address to make this work, but I don’t know how to do this. Searched online but to no avail.
Is there a code I can add to the ‘Exclude’ box?
