How to make news scroll in vertical direction

also i wanted to know that we need to define the maximum number of pages first. after the pages are full we again need to set them…Can this be made automated??

Vertical scrolling is not supported in the free version of the plugin (and will never be). It might become a feature of the pro version in the future, but is not on the roadmap right now.

Automatically increasing the number of pages would not be a good idea because as your site’s content grows, you will eventually have a lot of posts and it will be impossible to list them all in a news block. This would not be a scalable solution, and would even be a dangerous feature for many sites. So we are not planning on supporting this feature anytime soon either. The free version of the plugin must remain general-purpose and fit on any type of site, including sites with thousands of posts.

It means that We need to increase the number of linked pages as they run out of place for other news..

The older ones come on the first when all the pages are full

@darshan: no, the older posts do not come first. Posts are always ordered by content source news sort order as specified in the “Content source” tab.
