How to Make New Banner a Link to Homepage of My Site

I recently changed the banner on my site to a customized picture. Now I’m noticing that when I click on the banner, it no longer takes the visitor to the homepage anymore.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I regain that functionality? Thanks in advance for your help!
