How to make navigation bar transparent? How to center menu bar?

An upcoming theme update will introduce new menu bar options. This update is in the works. I hope to submit it for review within the next week or so. After that, the new version will be available via automatic update as soon as it’s been approved.

The problem you describe in 1) sounds like it might be a browser caching issue. Not really sure how you mean “transparent” or if that is your goal?

Menu alignment like you requested in 2) is not presently one of the theme options. As with any theme, custom styling can be accomplished through the use of child themes.

I’d advise waiting for a the new update before you spend too much time child theming the current version; just in case the new version introduces a simpler solution to your goals.

Another thought – the version available by download from this theme’s GitHub repository is a work in progress, and may contain untested CSS. In fact, that would probably explain the transparent menu that you described. If you’re currently running version 0.1.1, please roll back to version 0.0.13 (the version currently available from the official WordPress repository) – that should resolve the issue. Thanks!

A new version of the “Bliss” theme is now available for download from the WordPress repository. Please update to the latest version. I think this addresses all related issues. If you do have more questions, please feel welcome to open another thread. Thank you!
