How to make my entire site invisible while being developed

  • I had published pages on a temp site with a temp url at but I discovered that these are being picked up by Google. It will be a while before we are ready to launch our site and I don’t want people to view work-in-progress. We are trying to change all the status from published to draft, is it too late? Also all the internal links will break in the process without switching them to draft urls and then expect the urls to straighten themselves up when we switch to published again, months later? What is your advice? Is it too late?
