    Hello,

I added a image in my blog post using ” Add media” option and selected “Full-Size” in setting but the image in post is not fitting in 100% ( e.g – Featured Image Fits 100% automatically in post even if width of image is less than 500)

    My Image size: 479 X 332

    Regards

  • Hi,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

If you mean that you’re trying to embed an image into a post and want the image to span across the full content width, then please be aware that your uploaded image is way too small. You need to upload an image with a width of at least 678px.

Featured image fits 100% automatically in post even if width of image is less than 500

Featured images are placed automatically and scaled by the browser if the uploaded image is too small. That’s something different than the images you place manually into your post content.

You can learn more about recommended image dimensions here:

I change the above image width to 678 in custom size inbuilt option which resolved my problem.

I have one more issue, whenever I add media in post, the inserted image automatcially choose “Featured Image – 678 X 381”. Then I have to change size to “Full Size – 1080 X 761″ or any other size.”

Tell me how to change make “Full Size” my upload default option in post

This isn’t anything related to your WordPress theme. Selecting the size for embedded media is WordPress core functionality and usually the default is what you’ve used previously when embedding images.

By the way, embedding very large images into your post is not a good idea as this will negatively affect the performance of your site (load time). There usually is no need to embed images with width more than 678px.
