How to make images cross-dissolve on home page

    I’m new to WordPress and struggling, big time, so I need a little help.

    I’m struggling to even get my home landing page up and running (my domain is not linked yet, using temporary domain).

    I have nine large images that I want to have cross-fade from one to the next on my home landing page with each holding for five seconds, like this (don’t click Enter): https://www.erikjo.com

    I am clueless on how to even start going about this.
