How to make IDXListings auto sync with IDXBroker (paying IDXBroker customer)

    We are paying IDXBroker customer, but we have been instructed to post this question here.

    The problem we have is that our WordPress listings (post_type=listing) are not automatically synced with IDXBroker.

    We have to manualy go to:

    1. WordPress/Dashboard/Listings/Import IDX Listings
    2. Select the “Select all” checkbox
    3. Click on “Import Listings”

    Cant this be automated?

    And also, what is very important:

    when listings are imported, we are not getting the IDXBroker property link in order to send the visitors to the IDXBroker page. For example, there is no URL like: https://companyname.idxbroker.com/idx/details/listing/MLSCode/MLSID We only have MLSID, photo and some basic information pulled from IDXBroker. How can we get IDXBroker URL from MLS ID inside WordPress? This is very important to us so we can send visitors to proper IDXBroker URL at the end for every listing.

  • This is not something we want to add to the plugin itself as many users do not want the plugin to do this automatically as some of their listings they may want to exclude for a variety of reasons.

    Is there a ULR we can add to Cron for this?

    How about IDXBroker property link? Do you maybe have a code snippet for this so we can implement it without changing the plugin core files?

    You could build this functionality out using the IDX Broker API for the featured listings method to get the fullDetailsURL from the return but this is not something that the plugin currently does. I can enter a request to add this feature.

    The feature request in and it is pending review by the plugin developer team. If accepted it will be in future release to the plugin but we don’t have an ETA as to when it will be available.
