    Hi there,
I have WP Super Cache setup and working fine but I am having a small problem which in my case is quite big. I have setup the Cache Timeout to extremely big number and the Scheduler of garbage collection to be done twice a year. The website i use the plugin on is very static. There will be no changes made to it often so I would like it to be pretty much always served from the cached files. It works perfectly for all subpages but the home page is cleared every several minutes so the cached file isn’t there when next person visit the page. Since the site has very low traffic pretty much everyone who visit it is trigging generation of the cached version of the home page instead of being served the cached one. All subpages are stored for the huge a mount of time but the home page file disappear from the …/wp-content/cache/supercache folder very quick.

I went through all the settings and forums but didn’t find anything. Usually people are having opposite problem. Is there any way I can make the home page cached version stay on the server for the same amount of time I set for all other subpages?

  • Do you have “cache rebuild” option checked under advanced options?
If so, try turning it off. I was having similar problem as you, and this seems to have fixed it.

I did have it checked. It seems to be working now the way I wanted it to work. Thank you very much for your help.
