how to make galleries appear in grid on home page

    I want to make my site home page to appear like that on this theme’s official demo page here:

    https://locallylost.com/picturesque/

    As you notice the image and gallery post archives are displayed in nice grid format there. It is important for my site to have similar look and feel. Appreciate any quick help.

    Sorry, I cannot share my site at this time.

    Basically the Gallery/Image posts are appearing in Blog format like in any other theme.

    Under Settings->Reading, do you have a Front Page or Posts Page set? Once you’ve create your gallery page, just switch that Front Page setting to your Gallery page. That page will then show as the home page.

    Same question here. Can’t get the galleries or images to appear as they are shown off on the demo page.
    I have my galleries and they appear as posts on a “blog” style page. In settings I have a static front page – when I switch from the sample to a generated “gallery” page I again just get a blog appearance though this time on the front page. How do I get the beautiful demo page to appear on my website?

    thanks ! I was also having trouble getting my gallery to be the home page. You saved me a lot of work and such a simple fix.
