I am working on a project where a lot of custom post types are created with Toolset Type. the project is now going to use Gutenberg and some shortcodes need to be converted into blocks, which I am doing.

The problem is all post type edit pages are coming with default old WP editor. I need them to make compatible with Gutenberg so that shortcode blocks are workable.

To make a post type editable in Gutenberg I have to use 'show_in_rest' => true. How can do it with existing CPTs created with your plugin? Is there a way or I have to rewrite those CPTs by hand?

Please suggest. Its kind of urgent.

    Thank you!

Please read this sticky post, the Types plugin is deprecated.

As for Gutenberg, the Toolset Types which proceeds its life as a paid plugin supports Gutenberg along with it’s blocks, however, I cannot explain paid plugins here.
    You might contact us here.
Also here you can find a list of other solutions to Toolset Types.

Show in rest itself is activated in the Posts Edit Screen (Toolset Types > Post Types > Edit your post type > Options).
On the free version you will then be able to use Gutenberg on those posts, however, the plugin is deprecated, there will be no support or updates.
I cannot suggest going ahead with the project using Free Types plugin.
