How to make ‘Deliver to a different address?’ not ticked by default

    Hi,

    ‘Deliver to a different address?’ is ticked by default on my checkout page. However, the fields to complete the delivery address don’t show up.

    If you untick ‘Deliver to a different address?’ and then retick it, the fields do show up.

    However, one potential customer just contacted me asking how to enter the delivery address, so its definitely not obvious that you need to untick and then retick it. The customer should need to do that.

    How can I either have the ‘Deliver to a different address?’ box unticked by default? Or show the fields immediately when they go to the checkout page?

    Thanks for your message.

    Our plugin cannot modify the value of the “Ship to a different address?” Field. Nevertheless, I will try to help you. How did you make this field checked by default?

    Hi Mateusz,

    I have no idea how I ticked it by default. I don’t think I did anything??

    Or if I cannot change this box being ticked by default…how can I make the fields to complete the delivery address appear straight away?

    I know I have lost at least one order due to this, and suspect many more ??

    Hello again @laylaroberts,

    You added a thread in our plugin’s support forum, so I understand you equating this issue with our plugin. Can you tell why?

    It is very important how you set this field (“Ship to a different address?”) checked by default. It probably just doesn’t work. Please try to remember how you did it.
