How to make Custom User Registration Form?

    Hello everybody.

    Is there any way to make custom Registration form for users in wordpress?

    I do not want to use any plugin or buddy press. I want to add a few more options in default wordpress registration form. How can I do it? Do I need any extra template file ?
    Is there any codex or tutorial?
