I looked at that but it didn’t help. I have 5 different pages.

    home
    about
    contact
    live
    videos

and I want when someone types in website.com/about it will go to my about page.

website.com/contact will go to my contact page
website.com/live will go to my live page
    ect.

I dont care what links the blog posts have.. I just want those links to be customized so I can tell someone to type in website.com/live and it will take you to my live page instead of telling them to go to website.com/340970iw05948efih or go to my website and click on the live page..

I want website.com/live to link to my live page.

Click on Settings permalinks and select custom structure and add /%postname%/ and and save changes now if you go to your pages it should have your page name after domain name.

I am having the same issue as iDoiStuff. I followed your instructions govpatel and I am still having the same problem.

    govpatel- THANKS! IT WORKED!

ExordiumToys- Make sure you edit your .htaccess file after.

Check with your host if they have mod_rewrite on as that is what rewrites the urls.

    iDoiStuff You welcome
