How to make child theme?

    I want to combine 2 themes but someone told that I can create child theme to make it easy.

    So, my questions are :

    1.How do I combine it or make child theme?
    2.What about codes does it conflict with each other?
    3. What about site loading time? will it increase?
    4. How to take and use important parts from each themes?

    Please help
