How to make changes to the slider ???

    The only thing i am not satisfied with this theme is the slider. Every thing else can be edited with a click of a button but changing the slider is a new game. So far i am struggling with 2 problems

    1) How can i adjust the slider speed?

    2) I use the slider for different posts on my website. When i do so the featured image changes, the post title changes(Red box) but the content of the black box does not change with the image/title change. How can i resolve this issue?

    1. There is no options for slider speed for this theme and you will have to manually change it via flexslider js file.

    2. Are you sure that you haven’t set the same excerpt for all your posts that are in the slider as Excerpt is being used for that content. Here you can find more about excerpts

    1. Since Sparkling 1.6.0 you can now edit flexslider-custom.js that you can find in theme folder – inc – js to adjust slider speed, transition style and several other aspects of this slider. It is still not update save and fool-proof version but it is better than nothing.

    How can i access the theme folder ?

    By using FTP client such as FileZilla or any other. You need to connect to your website via FTP and then you can access those files.

    Probably you hosting provider has some FTP tool inside control panel as well.
