How to make Automatic Slideshow for the featured posts

    I needed the slider on the homepage to be automatic.

    Automatic slideshow with a specific time delay.

    Any help on this?

  • In /inc/featured.php change slidershow: false to true – the delay can also be adjusted in the code there.

    (This is covered in the documentation)

    I Changed this But still its not showing as a slideshow. ??

    Make sure that you don’t hold the mouse cursor on the slider as it will then pause.

    Well I figured out the prob.

    I copied featured.php to my child theme and did the change.

    Now I changed in the main theme folder. And it started working.

    Is there anyway I can do it from Child theme. Because I do not want this feature to go off when the theme updates.

    If you put an inc folder in the child theme and put it in it, it should work I think. It just needs to have the same structure as the parent theme.
