How to Make Amazon ShortCodes Work in Custom Fields?

    Hello,
    I have a website that is similar to thisiswhyimbroke.com
    I have two custom fields using the Advanced Custom FIelds plugin
    One for the URL and one for the price (it is a text based field)

    I want to be able to grab the API using Amazon’s short code in the field. BUt it does not appear to work and it does not recognize the shortcode.

    Instead of seeing the price, I see the shortcode.

    I was wondering if you could help troubleshoot this for me? I would gladly compensate you for your time. Thank you

    hmm actually i figured it out, but now how do we use the shortcodes to just pull the price only. nothing else?

    Hi,
    You would use the amazon-element shortcode like so:
    [amazon-element asin="XXXXXXXXXX" fields="new-price"]

    For more info on shortcode usage, see the page Shortcode Usage under the Amazon Product menu in the admin of your site.
