how to make a transparent footer

  • Hi,
    I am wanting to make the footer transparent.
    I have added a background image and managed to get the main body of the site transparent using rgba but I cant seem to figure out how to do the same for the footer.
    I found this thread :

    where user “electric feet” in the 2nd comment suggests you have to edit the footer.php ( for the white footer.)
    Is this correct?I have no experience with php so am nervous about changing anything.
    Can anyone help?

    Hi D4z!
    yes, that worked!
    I put #77675a there to try to merge/match with the color of the bottom of the image rather than the transparency effect, as I had the code wrong.
    yes, webdev, not much to see at the bottom of the image hence why I didnt want to get too stuck on the solution.
