How to make a media page?

Hi there,

I would like to be able to show pictures en video in a bigger size on a media (template) page. This way i’m not restricted to the width of my content column (only 450px).

I’ve set up a template at 965px width that i can select when I write a post and that works. Only thing is I don’t want those posts on my frontpage or archive (don’t want the text in the media page). I want to link to them in a normal post.
