    Well, the question is simple.

I am using the defult theme, and I went through the Stylesheet.css – changed and added:
    font: $#$#$#

    But it didn’t help.
For you see, I have posted from word with diffurent font sizes to the post.

    Help me ??

    Tal.

  • Got a link that we could use to see your site?

Are you copying and pasting text from something like MS Word to your blog? That’ll bring along all sorts of extra formatting that overrides what you’re doing.

    yes ??

An example for a troublsom posts:
    https://www.zeevgalili.com/?m=199907

    (The web site is: https://www.zeevgalili.com)

and I am copying from MS-word to post2blog (which is a great program by the way). and then posting to the blog.

From now on, I will first copy paste into note-pad, and only then into the blog.
but I have already put 63 posts, and I would much rather not go one by one fixing them ??

    Any thoughts ?!

    10x,
    Tal.

Just go back to your posts and copy one, delete the MS Word rubbish, then just paste the copy you’ve copied into a plain text file.

It will take an hour or two, but live and learn eh?

Avoid copying from Word – it will also mess up the xhtml and css as well.

    Thanks,

But is there any way to do it in mass effect ?!

To sum up this thread –
I shouldn’t have taken my files from word.

What I need now is a word to txt convertor (but one abling to add text tags – so I could keep my headers)

I will resolve that on another thread – thanks for the replies ??

“global” font in default is defined in the stylesheet: look at the body tag, if I remember well.

By the way, there is a feature in Dreamweaver to remove word html, that might be the best way, if you’ve not already tidied up the content by hand.

PSPad – https://www.pspad.com/ – can also clean up crappy code ??

    LiverpoolLad – 10x
I will check that out much later.

What I would like is a tool that whould import many wod files – and export txt files with html tags (only <h#>, <b>, <u> tags actuelly)

    moshu – 10x, I will check it.
But again – I could just copy paste to notepad.
What I am looking for is a “mass copy paste” to notepad, without losing (a very minimal) set of html tags.

By the way – I already used the cleanup tool of post2blog that cleans ms-word to html.
And it doesn’t work well enough ! The site doesn’t validate XHTML (but If I clean it – it will). and if I run the cleaner twice – it will find more tags to remove.
in short – it is not good enough.

    thanks for the thinking ??
