how to make a capability for user?

    Im using User Role Editor plugin, and I want to make a capability for user only read stock, i only actived atum_view_admin_bar_menu and atum_view_admin_menu, but They can still edit and delete the stock.

    How to make them the ability to read? Sorry for my English and thank you so much for help!

  • Hi sorry to mix with your thread but I also have this kind of problem , I enabled the “Atum Stock . . .” for the Warehouse Manager — using the Role Editor. I use woocommerce

    I can create inventory Logs but cant add products — it the loading just keeps spinning when i add product using the warehouse manager account– but when i use the “Admin” account it just works fine — what seems wrong ?

    ATUM has several capabilities (all those starting with atum_ that you can see on your Role Editor plugin), however, as the stock field is a WooCommerce field and was not added by ATUM, we don’t have any capability to do so.

    Hi @iamjohnpalencia

    If the user you are having problems with is not an admin nor a shop manager, perhaps you’ll have problems everywhere (not with ATUM but with WooCommerce also).
    You’ll have to fine-tune the capabilities until you find a good combination of them.
    Alternatively, you can use as a base a higher role for that user and remove the unwanted capabilities from it.
