How to lose good will in a nutshell

  • Running a website support agency, I just love it when a plugin update brings a huge amount of unexpected work and cost, just like CAPTCHA 4WP has done, by removing support of Contact Form 7 with its latest update. Bad move. Now I’ve got 40 websites to fix without any prior warning. It’s so unprofessional to do this to customers. Good luck with the new business model, but you’ve lost me!

    Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

    These premium features were already advertised as premium features in previous version of the plugin, so we didn’t think such change would affect so many websites.

    Now that we have better understanding of the numbers, we are working to reverse the change and give a number of weeks as notice. Tomorrow we will be releasing an update to reverse this change.
