How to loop only parent taxonomy in posts

  • Hi,
    I have a custom post type “stores” with taxonomy “locations”:

    -Main location 1
    –Sub location1
    –Sub location2

    -Main location 2
    –Sub location1
    –Sub location2

    I would like to show in my posts only the Main locations.

    It’s possible? Thanks!
