    Hi!

I don’t think that’s possible. As long as you pay for the domain, it cannot be taken by someone else.

Thanks for your answer. I read it at https://www.quickonlinetips.com/archives/2015/11/domain-name-security/ . My website https://hargacetak.net is paid on time, i never paid late.

Inquire with your registrar. Some offer a “lock” feature where you are supposed to be protected in case your registrar account gets hacked.

Not really a WordPress question, but … Yes, domain names do sometimes get stolen. It sounds like you may have registered your domain name through your host provider? If so I recommend immediately moving the domain name to a real registrar – Godaddy, NameCheap, NameSilo are examples. Look for one that offers domain lock, whois privacy, and extra security at no extra cost (hint … NameSilo).

A whois lookup (https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=hargacetak.net) shows that your registrar is Public Domain Registry – they do not offer services directly to the end customer, so likely done through your host provider. Good news – the domain is registered in your name, and is locked. So, no immediate worries, but I would move it as recommended above.

Yes, your domain name appears to be in no immediate danger of being stolen. Sometimes an unscrupulous third-party will register a client’s domain in the name of the third party. This is not the case – your domain is registered in your name, and is locked. Switching to a mainstream Registrar like NameSilo would allow you to use Whois privacy and domain protection, which would be even safer.
