How to localize gift card email template with WPML

Hi there,

I’m using this plugin on a customer shop. I’m translating the website with WPML, but I’m unable to get the email delivery template to work correctly in the secondary language.

I have tried setting the “Gift Card” custom post type to “translatable” in WPML settings and translate the email template (I am using default “Custom template” for the Gift Cards in primary language):

• using WPML’s advanced translation editor for synced translation
• creating a duplicated unsynced translation template, then translated texts in the markup manually

RESULTS:

1. creating a synced translation for the template, it doesn’t show up in the “Email template” field in the gift card product’s data table
2. creating a duplicate unsyced tranlsation make the template to show up in the “Email template” field in the gift card product’s data table
3. in either case, the markup of the translated email template doesn’t get pulled in the delivery email body, where in the secondary language I get instead a markup of the homepage of the website in the primary language.

Maybe I am doing something wrong?
Or there are known workaround to have localized delivery email templates?
