how to load shortcodes async instead of content only

  • I am using TeamPress within OceanWp and Audio Igniter to embed audio files with shortcodes.

    On first page load the audio files come up when you click on image div. However, when I use my filter with teampress the Audio files no longer show up.

    I have asked Teampress and they have not helped and I have asked Audio Igniter for assistance and they have stated: “Ohh I am afraid this is an issue with the theme, because it loads all contents async. Please contact your theme developers on how to load shortcodes async instead of content only.”

    Can anyone assist with how I would go about doing this?

    Not entirely sure what to make of this question kodbend1; Async Javascript is a plugin that allows javascript-files that are referenced in your HTML source to have the “async” or “defer” attribute. Is that what you’re aiming for?

    Hi Optimizing Matters. I am really looking for someone to point me in the right direction. I am not a TOP coder or coding Specialist, so would like someone to tell me what it is that I need to do here. A developer in Stack overflow said that it loads all contents async. Please contact your theme developers on how to load shortcodes async instead of content only. So thought maybe this plugin can async my two plugins. But not sure if this is the issue. Absolutely no one can tell me what I need to do. And I am sure it is something that can be fixed. Would you by any chance know what it is that is wrong?

    But I’m not even sure what the problem is kodbend1 ; when clicking on the images I do see the audio and it plays when clicked on?

    That’s exactly what it should do….but the Issue that I have is once you click on the filter(Male in this instance to filter) the profile will be filtered and then click on the image again, you’ll see the audio shortcode disappears.

    it only appears again when I refresh the page. That’s why someone suggested async, but in all honestly I have no idea what that even means.

    I see. But I’m afraid that’s not something AsyncJS can help you with and I have no idea how to fix that I’m afraid :-/
