• I am trying to build a WordPress blog where if some clicks the category in the side bar they should only be able to see the post titles instead of seeing post titles and full posts on the main page (not the side bar).

And after seeing post titles on main page when the click the post title then they should be able to see the post title and the content.

So here is the review of what i wanted to say

Click the category on the side bar >>> Show only post titles on the main page (not the side bar) >>> click the post title >>> see the post title and its content (on the main page).

I hope that makes sense i tried to explain as much as i could please help me out!!!

    Thanks

  • If I get what you are looking for, try this. In the text editor (Write tab in dashboard) there’s a little button that you can use to split up a post. On my editor it’s 3rd from the left and on mouseover it says “split post with more tag”. Try using that to split your post right at the begining and see if you get the appearance you are looking for.
