Hi, I got 2 category, sorted by countries/state. One to list trainers, and one to list clubs.

I want to put each category on the menu and list ONLY that specific category. However, when i click on that specific category on the menu, it shows the entire list. I can’t find a shortcode would allow me to separate the category listing.

    Please help.

Not official support, but if you should see a category list called Directorist Categories, in which you can then assign a category to a menu.

I would also make sure you are not selecting a top-level category, since it will populate all listings within that hierarchy.

Hi, manage to solve it. Not sure how i did it though.
I thought i need a specific short code like [directorist_”Category name”_categories] to list specifically.

Any way, I’m having issue with the search filter now. Is it possible to search by location?

Right now, i can only search by location but using “text” Not a drop down menu.
But it’s mess up now too. When i type anything, it shows some error and i cant continue typing it.

Not sure if it’s cause by the google map api setting. Seem to be doing it right.

    You know whats the problem?

    Cheeers man

    Hello,
Glad to know that you fixed the first problem. To show location dropdown field in search form, you have to change “Location Source for Search Field” to “Display from Listing Location” from “Directory Settings -> Search Settings”.

Note: You will see two section in this settings page, “SEARCH FORM SETTINGS” and “SEARCH RESULT SETTINGS”, change the location source from both section.
