How to list Events in Category Archive listings

    Hello,

    I was wondering, is there a way to list events in similar way as posts in Category Archive -widget using existing shortcodes? i.e.

    Blog Category Name
    – 2020 (12) <<– number of posts published in year 2020 within said post category
    – 2021 (15) etc..

    Events Category Name
    – 2020 (10) << — number of events published in year 2020 within said events category
    – 2021 (18) etc..
