How to list a new WP Theme?
-
May sound silly but how do I list a new theme on WordPress? I can list plugins etc., but cannot find any documentation/links about submitting a theme for general release under the GNU General Public License.
We have worked hard on this theme (which is ready for release now) and beleive it could be the start of the end of Paid for Premium themes.
For those that are interested:
Theme Features:
- Choice of 20 websafe fonts selectable from drop downs applying to headers, page text, menu text, button text etc ….
- Over 256m colours and 34 ways of applying them.
- Choice of 6 different page layouts. (Each of which can apply to the post, pages, archives, single, and search). Your blog could have a different layout for each section (post, pages, archives, single, and searchand) PLUS different layouts for categories (single and archive pages) if you wish
- Multiple sidebars – selectable based on page layout PLUS the option to have a different sidebar for a specific or each category.
- Two or three columns (based on your selected page layout).
- Numeric pagination.
- Threaded comments.
- Social networking at the end of each post. (selectable)
- Automatic author details. (selectable)
- Thickbox.
- User-adjustable font sizes (i.e. good for accessibility).
- Customisable header.
- Support forum.
- Compatible with WordPress 2.6+
- Fixed width
- Gravatar ready
- Twitter, Facebook, MySpace & linkedin ready – follow me/us links badges (optional/selectable based on Social Networking membership)
- RSS ready (posts & comments)
- All sidebars are widget ready
- Adsense ready (728x90px, 468x60px and 250x250px)

And that’s just the start …..
Any suggestions/comments please leave here
Thanks
