• I want to put up a page on our site that our field maintenance people can use. when they are out in the field they will need to access technical drawings to trouble shoot certain products. so my question is, how do I link a drawing title on the page to the actual drawing that would be in a folder on our hosting server? is there a plugin for this?

    thank you for your help

All you need to do is create a link and type in the URL for the “remote document. No plugin is needed.

I have been trying to create the links and it is not going well. I am missing something. can you give me an example of a URL for this.

the PDFs are hosted in a separate folder. this folder is presently on the root dir but could be anywhere. I could move it to the WP dir. I have tried different locations and not matter how I assemble or copy the URL it doesn’t work. what am I missing?
