Hi, I’m running a webshop for guitar strings and I’m trying to set up a product feed for my products. I can’t seem to find out how to link my product attributes in Woocommerce to the filters in Google shopping.

For example, when you browse to “daddario” in google shopping, you see a lot of filters in the sidebar on the left, like Instrument / Core-material / thickness / wrap-material etc. I can’t find these google filters anywhere in the project settings ( Field mapping/ Category mapping/ Feed filters and rules).

Any idea how to set this up?

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

There is nothing you can set-up for this. Those “filters” in Google Shopping are based on Google’s own product data they have on instruments. All you need to do is make sure you have added the proper unique identifiers to your feed (such as brand and GTIN) so Google will recognise your products and hopefully be able to match your products to the instrument product data they already have.

OK, so I don’t have to worry about this then, thanks for your reply.
