    Hi there
I would love to use this to post my code in WordPress in page/post, is this plugin similar like codepn?
I try to use this in my admin, I not quite sure how my HTML, CSS, javascript can be linked together to a project, and I can’t find many tutorials on your site.
And I just want to try out couple simple code project and share on the post or page, I’m not really trying to edit the WordPress theme or design because I don’t want to break it.

Thank you so much for your help.
    Ruby

  • Hi Ruby,

    Thanks for your email.
I am currently working on more tutorials and a user manual, so please keep checking back on the Easy Code Manager website to see the progress: https://easy-code-manager.com

As for what you are trying to do, are you wanting to add code snippets to the front-end for blogging about coding. If so, you can use Easy Code Manager and Prism (https://prismjs.com) to do this. I have used this in the past for outputting code as shown in this demonstration page here: https://www.wipeoutmedia.com/ecm/code-test

If you are wanting to share your code project and have a button saying something like “Demo” that when pressed, demonstrates the script in action. Yes, you can also use Easy Code Manager to do this. Just create a new page for your Demonstration page. Create your Easy Code Manager code blocks for your CSS, JavaScript and HTML. You then assign your CSS and JavaScript code blocks using the Easy Code Manager assignment panel. For the HTML code block, you find out the shortcode name in the Information panel and copy and paste it in the Demonstration page body via the page editor.

The free version of Easy Code Manager is rather limited, but our premium version found on the website found here: https://easy-code-manager.com, you have a lot more code block assignments and linking options. For example you can send the CSS or JavaScript code block to the Footer instead of the Header of the page.

Lastly, Easy Code Manager keeps your code independent from your Theme, Plugins, and WordPress core files so you can rest assured that you will not permanently break anything.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Damian Baker
