How To Link Albumn to Gallery Page

I have created a page that uses a gallery shortcode. That gallery is also part of an album. How can I get the album thumbnail to link to the gallery page.

I’ve searched and found two similar requests (one exact request) and both were pointed to https://fooplugins.helpscoutdocs.com/article/131-custom-urls-for-albums but that page no longer exists.

I see the setting in the Album for Custom URL but no documentation anywhere on how this works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
