How to limit the number of backups retained

  • Hi – I have a weekly backup job created for backwpup on a WP 4.2.2 install. It’s only necessary to store the last 4 backups for this site. Is there a configuration inside backwpup that allows me to retain only the last X number of backups? Keeping only a limited set of backups helps preserve storage space on the server.

    I looked throughout the plugin’s interface, and also in the support forum as well as general Google searches, but was unable to find anything helpful. Am I missing something obvious?
