We have a yearly basic subscription. Sometimes, 5000 page views per month is not enough to get robust results. We could purchase additional page views. But sometimes we would prefer to extend the test to the next month using the fresh monthly budget. Can we limit page views on a daily basis so that a test does not consume more than a certain amount of page views per day? I know that this is not strictly necessary. With no page views left the test would just pause and restart if page views are available again. But this could have an impact on the final result. I would prefer a more random pattern so that page views are distributed evenly over a certain period of time.

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. But I guess you could limit the percentage of tested visitors. That is, instead of testing 100% of your traffic, just test 60%. This would result in fewer page views and conversions per day, but it’d still render valid and meaningful results.

Thanks, David. That’s a pretty useful workaround and should to the trick.
