How to limit number of linked keywords?

This plugin is the only cross-linking plugin from those I found which works with Cyrillic letters.

However, it is impossible to limit the number of linked keywords on one page/post, and also, it links the post to itself.

Can author fix that important issues? Otherwise search engines will ban pages instead of ranking them higher.
