Hi. I was using google Pagespeed Insight to analyse the performance of my website when I came across a suggestion that I couldn’t quiet figure out how to go about it.

It reads like this. “Leverage browser caching.
Setting an expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser to load previously downloaded resources from local disk rather than over the network.
Leverage browser caching for the following cacheable resources:
https://www.novalife.in/…ge/Front_images/arrows/arrows.simple.png (expiration not specified)…” There are several more items listed below.

I’m not really a technical person. So it would be great if you could suggest me a plugin (if there is any) that can help me with this optimisation. Thanks a lot.

    Hi @akashgadiya

First, I love that you are wanting to leverage browser cache.

Second, I will suggest reading reviews from as many cache plugins you can or want to compare. This will not only help in determining what type of support they offer but how they may also provide solutions.

There are several plugins available both free and paid. The thing to keep in mind as well is that not all plugins may play nicely in some server setups. One thing I would recommend is giving a plugin a try for a week or two and decide what works best for you and your site.

Thanks @jcastaneda! I figured that W3 Cache plugin that was already installed had this feature, it was just waiting to be discovered and enabled. ??
