How to let customer update billing info

  • Hi,

    Thank you for the awesome plugin.

    I’m trying to allow an active customer to update their billing info.

    Is this possible with Direct Plugin?

    I had a thought (letting customers sign up to a free or 0.01c subscription with their new card details which will auto update the card details for the other subscriptions. If the 0.01 c it can be refunded and cancelled). Would this work?

    Hello @jess-1 ,

    Thank you for using Direct Stripe.

    I realize the billing information is not updated using the “update card” type of button, I’m going to add this to the next update.

    In the meantime I would go for a payment type button and disable the “capture” option, that way it doesn’t require manual intervention from you and the payment is never captured (unless you manually order it from the Stripe dashboard).
