How to know if a theme was modified before update

  • Im start doing a translation feature for a client with a WP website and I want to update his theme (Outreach Pro, StudioPress). So I wanna know if theres a way to know this theme was modified by the first developer?

    Is it possible?

  • Yes there is. You’ll need a new and un-altered version of the theme, and then run whatever diff tool that you have over the two file systems. That will tell you if there are any differences and exactly where they are.
