How to keep static first post and then show newest posts after?

    What I would like to do is have a static first post and then after this static first post comes the latest posts. Is there anyway to accomplish this? I am also using the This Just In! theme from wordpresshacker.com I posted in their forums but was unable to get any help. Thanks everyone.

  • In 2.7.1 you have the option to set a Post as “sticky” which will keep that post on top of all other future Posts. Quick Edit a Post and then click on “Visibility” and there you will find the “Sticky” checkbox.

    I need to do this not on the front page, but for a category page. I have seen plugins, but nothing current. Any ideas?
