I’m trying to set up a WooCommerce store up here in Canada, however the – ahem – product I’m trying to sell will prohibit me from taking credit card payments (it’s in a sort of legal grey area).

What I am able to do however is accept email bank transfers, also known here as ‘e-transfers’.

The flow I’m looking to create would be like this: At checkout when you click ‘submit’, you will receive an email that provides the information to send your e-transfer from your bank (a payment email and an order ID). Then the customer would send the e-transfer to my email from their banking portal.

I have seen other similar websites utilize this flow, however I can’t find any documentation online on how to set that up. Essentially, I just need the checkout to send the email I guess. But I’m not sure how to connect that into WooCommerce.

I’m not super experienced with WooCommerce, so advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!
