How to Integrate an External Database into WP

  • I have a simple MySQL database of 100 products. I would like to be able to list products by category and then view a detail of each in typical database fashion. A database search would be useful but in this case is not essential.

    Is there any way of doing this?

  • Normally you would get a e-commerce theme or plugin and then import your data into WordPress. You’ll probably have to export your existing data as a CSV file and import that or just do it manually.
