• Hello,

I have to redesign a showcase website (80 pages)
(just a new design, the content will stay 90% the same: mostly text)
I headed to WordPress to do this job but I realize that the existing site (most of the pages were generated by
the publisher software, so these are HTML pages).
and so I have to recover these pages but how then to integrate these pages into the wordpress model ??
    I hope I don’t have to retype all the text … ??? : -0

Thank you so much for your experiences and advice !!!

  • There are methods to scrape out the HTML from existing pages/sites, but it’s pretty tedious, and doesn’t work that well. Especially if you have markup in the body of the pages.

80 pages is pretty tiny – I would recommend using copy and paste.
If you don’t want to take it on yourself, it’s a cheap, easy, fast job for anyone you can find on freelancer.com
