How to integrate Advert plugin

  • Hello,

    I am new to WordPress and evaluating it. I am developing a village website. The local businesses want to place rotating adverts on every page. I will be using a pre-developed theme.

    How easy is it to integrate a plugin into a wordpress theme? Will I need to do a lot of coding and css work to make it work or is the process more automated?

    Lastly, I have looked at some advertising plugins? So far I have seen AdServe and Max Banner Ads. Are either of them any good?

    check the forums for each of the plugins to see what people are saying about them. also, when evaluating a plugin check that it’s compatible with the version of wordpress you’re using and also check to see the date of the last update to the plugin, if it’s close to the current date then the developers are still working with it, if it’s 2006 for example you should probably avoid it like the plague!

    integrating plugins in wordpress is easy, it’s designed with that action in mind so you shouldn’t have too many problems.

    keep an eye on these forums for any help you need as it’s quite likely that any questions you have have probably been asked by others before you ??
