How to install WordPress on clean install of Centos 6?

  • Hello,
    I’ve followed many guides as I’m new to Linux but I just cannot seem to get it to work.

    At the moment I’ve installed php, MySQL, Apache and wordpress in the var/www/html/wordpress folder but when I go to localhost/wordpress, 127.0.0.1/wordpress or even when I move the files to the html dir and go to 127.0.0.1 or localhost all I get is the errors (as I disabled the annoying Apache test screen.

    Can anyone point me to, or write me a out a simple guide to setting up WordPress from a clean install of Centos or even a different Linux distro.
